Zhirinovsky to Volker: The militia will reach Kyiv, evacuate the embassy!
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that if he wins the presidential elections, he will pursue a tougher policy towards Ukraine.
“We are not proposing war, but we are proposing to carry out tough policies so that they are afraid. What kind of foreign policy is this - concessions? In Ukraine they gave in - Donbass is burning, thousands of people are dying... We need to decide with Ukraine. This cannot be announced to the whole people, as we will do,” Zhirinovsky said today at a press conference in Moscow.
He also said that he was going to tell the US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker during a personal meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would tell him: Kurt, for us Ukraine is our country. Therefore, we will not make any concessions here. If there is an offensive by the Donbass militias, we will not stop them, and they will reach Kyiv. It’s better to evacuate your embassy in advance,” Zhirinovsky said.
