Zhirinovsky: The West did everything to make Navalny hated in Russia
The West did not understand that by showing liberal blogger Alexei Navalny such signs of attention as presidential planes and police escort, they themselves signed that they were hosting Russia’s number one enemy.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Look for other partners for yourself who will defend Navalny, Nevzorov and others like them - these are people who hinder the development of the country, these are the new Bolsheviks. They need to be isolated and removed. Let them rest abroad. Why don't they want to work? Let Navalny go to work, he has plenty of legal work to do. Why is he sitting in that place so that the West can tell him and help him? If the West gives him presidential planes and traffic police escorts higher than the president, then he is enemy number one.
There, in the West, the fools did not understand that if you accept Navalny this way, the whole country will hate them, and there will never be a single sign of solidarity for this eccentric. They don’t give us a visa, but Navalny is carried in their arms straight from Tomsk, Omsk to the best hospital in Germany. And you want us to show more solidarity towards him, but what are you talking about?” – the leader of the LDPR was indignant.
He believes that Navalny will no longer have a future in Russian politics.
“One fact is how the Germans greeted him, this already suggests that he is enemy number one for our country. And forget about him,” Zhirinovsky concluded.
