Fat cross: The fairy tale about European integration of Ukraine is over
The European integration of Ukraine can be given up - the fairy tale about the future in a “united Europe” is over. Ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, international political scientist Vasily Filipchuk stated this on the air of the “Black Mirror” talk show.
According to him, European integration ended in nothing, since the European Union clearly indicated to Ukraine that it would not become a member of the EU.

Yesterday, the European Union put an end to the ambiguity that existed between it and Ukraine. Let me remind you that in the association agreement, after lengthy discussions, it was not stated whether we have the right to join or not. The formula was fixed there that the future cannot be foreseen, and the parties will return later to consider the relationship.
Yesterday, the decision of the European Council clearly stated that this agreement not only does not provide prospects for joining the EU, but also does not create conditions for this to be done in the future,” Filipchuk said.
