As the court found, on May 9 last year, a man, while intoxicated, poured a mixture of gasoline and oil on the outer clothing and body armor of a senior warrant officer of the police who was on duty at the checkpoint. The man then lit a match and threatened to kill the law enforcement officer if the checkpoint did not disappear.
