In the Kyiv region, a local resident tried to steal home grenade launchers that were “badly lying” near a military unit, for which the court sentenced him to three years in prison with a probationary period of 1 year.

A resident of Kiev, being near the territory of military unit 3027 at the address: Kiev region, Vyshgorod district, village. Novye Petrivtsi, went into one of the abandoned utility rooms, where he discovered four RPG-18 anti-tank grenade launchers. Not believing in his luck, because a grenade launcher is an irreplaceable thing in every Ukrainian home, he hid them, returned to the city, where he persuaded his friend to pick up this “treasure” in a car.
On the way back, the car of the home-grown grenade launcher was stopped by traffic police officers, who ruined all his plans for the further use or sale of four units of the “Shaitan-pipe”.
The court sentenced him to three years in prison with a probationary period of one year.
