Crimean resident fined for Right Sector symbols

The City Court of Armyansk fined an 18-year-old local resident who posted on his social network page materials containing Nazi symbols and paraphernalia of the Ukrainian extremist organization Right Sector. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea.

“In order to suppress the mass distribution of prohibited materials, the city prosecutor opened a case against the network user for an administrative offense under Art. 20.3 (propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,” the message says.

The first time, the young criminal got off with a fine of one thousand rubles. It is reported that extremist materials will be removed from his page.
