A resident of Crimea, Dilyaver Gafarov, was detained today on suspicion of participation in an illegal armed group.
Novaya Gazeta journalist Anton Naumlyuk reports this on his blog.
According to him, the search began before 4 am and lasted until 11. It was carried out by several dozen armed security forces.
“Dilyaver Gafarov, whose house in the village of Zhemchuzhina of Crimea was searched by FSB officers today, was detained on suspicion of a crime under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Participation in an armed formation not provided for by federal law, as well as participation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation not provided for by the legislation of this state, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation.” Tomorrow a preventive measure will be chosen,” Naumlyuk wrote.
