As noted in court decision, in 2014, a twice-convicted resident of the city of Lisichansk decided to get a job and, during an interview with a friend, told false information that it was he who participated in blowing up the road bridge across the Seversky Donets River in Lisichansk. Active cooperation with the LPR was the main condition for getting the proposed job.
The interview was recorded on video, which in 2016 fell into the hands of SBU officers and became the basis for initiating a criminal case and detaining the false bomber. During a search, he miraculously found safety climbing equipment with chemical traces of explosives on it. The inventor in court categorically denied his involvement in the terrorist attack, but it was too late, because the SBU had already reported on solving the crime, and the court only passed a sentence as an edification for appropriating the exploits of others.
