Sevastopol, November 19 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – In Sevastopol, a man is accused of killing his girlfriend and then burning her body.

A 38-year-old man is accused of murdering his common-law wife.

On June 19, 2014, the burnt body of a woman was found in a hole in a forest in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol. The investigation established that the victim was a 37-year-old local resident.

The detained 38-year-old man confessed, telling investigators that he beat his partner, then threw a stone on her head and left her in the forest. Deciding to hide the traces of the crime, the attacker returned the next day to the crime scene, moved his girlfriend’s body into a pit and set it on fire.

The man himself explained that the motive for committing the crime was jealousy.
