A resident of Ukraine organized a parade in honor of Navy Day under Russian flags
In Kremenchug, nationalists harassed a local resident because of a rowing boat, over which the flag of the USSR Navy and the departmental flag of the Russian Border Service were flying. Activists who noticed the boat on the banks of the Dnieper called the police, who seized the symbols prohibited by the Ukrainian authorities and initiated an inspection, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, citing the local Telegraph publication.
“The boat was off Fantasia Island. Two flags fluttered above it: at the bottom is the flag of the USSR Navy (prohibited by the legislation on decommunization) on top is the guis (flag) of the ships of the border services of the Russian Federation... the flags belong to a 53-year-old Kremenchu citizen. An investigation is currently underway,” the statement says.
