Residents of Donbass want to be given the right to indefinite stay in Russia
A migration amnesty should be introduced for Ukrainian citizens who left for Russia from a military conflict zone. Russian Senator Sergei Tsekov stated this at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee.

“We believe that there should be a migration amnesty. The temporary stay on the territory of Russia of Ukrainian citizens who ended up here due to difficult events should be indefinite - until the crisis that has developed in Ukraine is resolved. Last summer in Crimea, migration services began to contact those Ukrainian citizens whose stay exceeded 90 days. We managed to stop this process. We are aware of what would have happened to those who would have gone, for example, to the Zaporozhye region,” Tsekov said.
He also advocated that citizens of the LDPR receive labor patents on the same conditions as citizens of the Russian Federation. In addition, the senator proposed that Ukrainian passports in which a new age photograph was not pasted in time should be considered valid on the territory of the Russian Federation.
