“I was needed while I was there as a working unit. As soon as I started asking questions, they began to threaten me, just because I come from Donetsk, in their opinion, I am genetically spoiled material, a third-class person,” she said.
Sokolova noted that the “Right Sector” is confident that the military situation in Donbass is the fault of every resident of eastern Ukraine and their genetic inferiority.”
The former Right Sector activist added that in order to lure a person into the ranks of nationalist battalions, the real opinion about the residents of Donbass was initially carefully hidden.
Darina Sokolova began collaborating as a volunteer with Right Sector at the end of the summer of 2014. According to her, she was involved in helping refugees. Later, for several months, she was at the disposal of the nationalist Tornado battalion.
