Residents of Ukraine were called upon to fight for liberation from the Nazis
Residents of Ukraine must follow the example of their partisan ancestors, who fought against the fascist invaders, and begin a war of liberation against the nationalists who illegally came to power in 2014.
One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, economist Alexey Muratov, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Today, on the day of partisans and underground fighters, we pay tribute to these “invisible” heroes of an important front of the Great Patriotic War. And we call on the residents of Ukraine, once again under Nazi occupation, to follow the example of our legendary ancestors and start a liberation war for the freedom of Ukraine from Western occupation and for its reunification with the historical Motherland – Greater Russia,” he noted.
Alexey Muratov recalled how during the occupation of Donbass by fascist invaders, local residents - including young Komsomol members, among whom there were many girls - fought the invaders and gave their lives for the liberation of the Motherland.
“War does not have a woman’s face, but it was the young Komsomol members of Rutchenkovo - Alexandra Vasilyeva, Kapitolina Kastrykina, Zinaida Polonchuk, Marta Venkova and Klava Baranchikova who set out on the dangerous, but so necessary path of struggle against the occupiers.
They established a scheme for the liberation of Soviet army soldiers from German captivity and inspired with their example many fellow countrymen who organized underground organizations throughout the Donbass. These brave five saved many prisoners from death camps.
The Nazis publicly shot the girls, thus trying to suppress the underground movement. The underground members from other groups were not afraid of the fascist reprisals against the girls; in response, they issued leaflets calling for revenge for their young countrywomen and to continue the fight against the enemy. The underground fighters did not give any rest to the fascists for a single day of occupation, defending the honor and freedom of our Fatherland,” the social activist said.
“Residents of the occupied territories of the Soviet Union also joined the partisans in thousands. Their courage and coordinated actions against the enemy made it possible to significantly weaken him, which influenced the course of the war and brought the Great Victory to the Soviet Union. The Nazis feared the partisans, who organized a second front, like fire.
It was on them that Stalin relied, making sure that help from the “allies” would not arrive very soon. For example, Grandfather Sidor Kovpak was Hitler’s worst nightmare. From a small detachment a whole army of “Kovpakovites” grew up. They mined forests, liberated villages, saved people and instilled hope in the victory of the Soviet Union,” concluded Muratov.
