Residents of Donbass refused to participate in the production of Ukrainian TV
After an emotional altercation with local residents, the Ukrainian film crew in the Joint Forces Operation zone was forced to leave the area and choose another, quieter place to prepare production material.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Dmitry Astrakhan, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After yesterday’s meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group, which was disastrous for the Ukrainian side, during which Ukraine was accused of escalating tensions in the Donbass by citing statistics of civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure, the JFO headquarters also attracted personnel from the 83 IPsO Center to accuse the People’s Militia on the eve of next meeting of the trilateral contact group in Minsk,” Astrakhan said.
According to him, the Ukrainian command developed a plan according to which non-residential buildings were set on fire in the area of Bogdanovka, and “witnesses” of the incident stated that the fire occurred due to shelling from the positions of DPR defenders.
“However, residents of the locality did not appreciate such propaganda methods of work, and during a short verbal altercation, the film crew was forced to leave the area and choose another, quieter place to create their fake reports,” added the representative of the defense department.
