Residents of Donetsk compare the assault on the city with the defense of Sevastopol: Poroshenko will be punished
Kyiv, January 18 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – All those responsible for the death of civilians in Donetsk as a result of today’s and previous assaults on the city by Ukrainian troops will inevitably be punished.
This is stated in the statement of the “Civil Initiative of Donbass” - an association of the intelligentsia of Donetsk - engineers, architects, historians, journalists, political scientists, etc.

“Today was (and it is just ending) a terrible day for Donetsk, for Gorlovka, for other cities of the Donetsk region. At dawn (just like the Nazis), Ukrainian nationalists attacked Donetsk and Gorlovka. There was an attack yesterday, but today everything that happened spoke of an assault.
The guns roared for several hours without stopping. Military historians say that this happened during the first defense of Sevastopol, and it happened during the second. But both times all the Russians (and this is not only the great, small and white Russians, but representatives of the peoples who have lived next to us for centuries) successfully repelled the enemy onslaughts. And only huge losses, physical fatigue, the inability to continue holding positions with benefit for the defense, and political decisions forced us to temporarily leave. But we always came back. Russians and Soviets never gave up theirs forever.
Nationalists who betrayed the Little Russian Ukrainian people and went to serve the enemies of Rus' should also think about this. They think to stain all Ukrainians with the blood and dirt of their vile deeds, to make them slaves of the vicious people of the West who are sliding into the abyss. But the Slavs have always been distinguished by their wits, and the moment they realize that they were brought not to fight “terrorists”, but to commit fratricide, they will turn their weapons against deceivers and murderers.
No matter how much the rope is twisted or punished, the one who is responsible for the deaths of civilians in Donbass, for our ruined lives, will definitely receive his well-deserved punishment. And their descendants will forget their names with contempt. Therefore, today we, representatives of the intelligentsia of Donetsk and the entire Donbass, appeal to those Ukrainian military personnel who are still able to perceive reality normally - come to your senses, stop killing our city, our region, our children! Drop your weapons and go home. This is the best thing you can do in life for yourself and your immortal soul. You still won’t be able to overcome Donbass, and you will be guilty of human deaths - you will never atone for this terrible sin.
