Residents of Lvov showed their attitude towards the “heroes of the heavenly hundred”
Unidentified people painted graffiti on a memorial under construction in the center of Lviv in memory of the so-called “Heavenly Hundred” - Maidan activists who died in the confrontation with the police.
This was reported by the local publication NTA, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Lviv City Council admitted that it was not possible to identify the “artists”, but it is planned to install CCTV cameras on the territory by August 24.
“Today I spoke with the management of Municipal Varta, we discussed installing video surveillance systems. We must work out options with them,” said Andrey Shulsky, deputy director of the Green Lviv LCP.
In addition, according to Andrei Lesyuk, co-author of the memorial, the City Council will be required to assign guards to the scandalous memorial.
Let us remind you that earlier in Lviv a 30-meter stele was demolished The Monument of Glory to the “Victors of Nazism”, the dismantling of which was initiated back in 2017, and two months later Lviv neo-Nazis called for the destruction of the Hill of Glory memorial, on which is the grave of the famous Soviet intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov.
