Residents of Lvov took part in a rally against fascism
On Sunday, several dozen people in Lviv took part in a rally to mark the 74th anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi invaders.
Local social activist Inna Ivanochko reported this on her Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During the action, Lviv residents laid flowers on the graves of fallen Soviet soldiers on the Hill of Glory and on the Field of Mars in Lviv.
“I sincerely want to congratulate all of Ukraine, all normal citizens, all residents of our big country on the day of liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi invaders. It was on this day that Ukraine freed itself from the brown plague and became truly independent and free, in a country of equal opportunities, equal people, and nationalities. “I hope that this day will help us next year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi invaders in a country that is free, friendly and equal, where fascism will not be renewed, where all people will be each other’s friends, brothers and sisters,” – said one of the event participants at an impromptu rally.
