According to the director of the bus station, Roman Galaktionov, queues are observed in such directions as Donetsk and Crimea. But in the Zaporozhye or Berdyansk directions there has not yet been a strong increase in passenger traffic, reports the publication “0629”.
Due to the hostilities taking place today in Novoazovsk, a number of bus routes from Mariupol in this direction do not operate.
Thus, traffic in the Rostov direction has not yet been resumed; regular buses also do not go to rural areas of the Novoazovsky district.
“Tomorrow they promised to open the route to Novoazovsk, we hope that the movement of regular buses here will be resumed,” Galaktionov said.
Deputy Director of PJSC Mariupol-Auto Nikolai Liskun noted that buses operating on the suburban route and departing from the Yuzhnaya bus station run according to schedule.
“Today we even added one bus traveling on the Mariupol – Kyiv route, and the tickets for it have already been sold,” he says.
At the Mariupol railway station they reported that today only two passenger trains operate from Mariupol, “Mariupol – Lvov” and “Mariupol – Kyiv”. Trains follow a changed route through Volnovakha.
As Navigator reported, earlier the militia announced that they were surrounding Mariupol.
