Poltava, September 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Newspapers are delivered to Poltava residents’ mailboxes, in which a photograph of Poltava Mayor Alexander Mamai is published on the main page. Above the photo it is indicated that Mamai does not appear in court and a reward in the form of a bag of buckwheat is promised for information about his whereabouts.

As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday the mayor of Poltava disappeared from the building of the Oktyabrsky District Court, where he was forcibly taken to consider a criminal case against him under corruption charges. During one of the breaks he escaped.
A court hearing took place today, but Mamaia also did not appear because she is on sick leave. As Poltava News writes, the relevant documents were submitted to the court. According to documented information, yesterday Alexander Mamai went to the “Primary Health Care Center No. 1” at his place of residence, where he underwent a medical examination. He was declared incapacitated and sent to hospital treatment.
Today he returned to the medical facility. His sick leave was extended. According to local media, he was fined 1700 UAH for fleeing yesterday.
