Residents of the frontline areas of the DPR received help
Residents of five cities and districts of the DPR received humanitarian aid: Gorlovka, Debaltsevo, Dokuchaevsk, Sakhanka, and Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, whose representatives delivered assistance.
Thus, Gorlovka Lyubov Klimova, a resident of the front-line village of Ozeryanovka, received a refrigerator.
“The woman found herself in a difficult life situation. In the winter of 2015, a shell flew into the house. As a result, the home and refrigerator were damaged. Lyubov and her son did not have the opportunity to buy a new one,” the press service explains.
Humanitarian kits intended for people in dire need of support were transferred to Dokuchaevsk. A woman from the village of Yasny received sets of test strips for determining blood glucose, and 35 packages of diapers for bedridden patients with disabilities.
Also, residents of the frontline village of Sakhanka were given devices and test strips for determining blood glucose, as well as devices for the movement of disabled and elderly people.
“Because of the constant shelling, the village is dangerous. People are afraid to go out into the streets, to pharmacies and shops once again,” the social activists explain.
“A glucometer and test strips will make my life a lot easier, I will know what my sugar level is and will be able to control it,” said the village resident.
Aid was also delivered to residents of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. People with disability group I were given personal hygiene products. Help was also provided to bedridden patients in need.
