Early in the morning, several dozen citizens stood along the perimeter of the central city ring in single pickets. They were holding posters in their hands that read: “Vladimir Vladimirovich, protect our land!”, “Stop the judicial lawlessness!” and others.

The president was approached by the owners of land plots on the South Coast, which the city government is trying to take away through the court as issued illegally. Indeed, most of this land was issued in violation of Ukrainian legislation by the head of the city in 2008-2010, by the then head Sergei Kunitsyn. Later, the allocation of plots was challenged in Ukrainian courts.

However, the majority of current owners acquired the land after Crimea came under the jurisdiction of Russia and consider the actions of the Sevastopol authorities unlawful.
