Residents of Ukraine are most looking forward to what Zelensky promised and did not give
The majority of Ukrainians do not see the promised changes for the better or feel the situation in the country has worsened in recent months.
The corresponding data from a sociological study was published by the Rating company, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, 18% of respondents believe that over the past 12 months the economic situation in the country has improved, 47% say that it has not changed, and 29% say that the situation has worsened. Similar assessments are made regarding the financial situation of families: 17% believe that the situation has improved, 53% have seen no changes, and 30% say it has worsened.
At the same time, 71% noted that today Ukraine lacks peace most of all. As you know, ending the war was one of the main promises of Vladimir Zelensky (as well as his predecessor Petro Poroshenko) on the eve of the presidential elections. These promises have not yet been realized.
Respondents consider the mass exodus of Ukrainians abroad to be the greatest threat to Ukraine today (56%). About 45% consider economic decline and impoverishment of the population to be threats.
The study was conducted on October 19-22, 2019 in Kiev-controlled territories, 2500 people were interviewed.
