“Life is getting worse, and an example of this is the genocide budget for 2017. The minimum wage is $60, the lowest in Europe. In 2013 it was three times more,” he said.
The politician clarified that at the same time the Ukrainian government is cutting benefits and social payments in order to receive new loans from the IMF.
“We are for international cooperation, but the consequence of this should not be an increase in the retirement age, an increase in tariffs and prices. Our men live on average 65 years – do you want them to retire and die?” - said the deputy.
According to him, the government is falsifying documents, simulating economic growth.
“The government is proud of the planned 3% GDP growth. Even if this is true, we will reach the level of 2013 only in 10 years. And this “growth” is inflationary. There's really no growth. You gave money with one hand, and with the other hand you demand to finance or close vocational schools, schools, and take away benefits from people,” Vilkul also said.
