Residents of Ukrainian Armed Forces-controlled Donbass cities prefer to go to give birth in the DPR
Residents of Ukrainian-controlled territory prefer to come to give birth in the DPR, where they are given a free opportunity as part of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass.
A woman who came to Donetsk from Mariupol for the birth spoke about this in an interview with First Republican.

According to her, there are almost no qualified doctors left in Ukraine to perform complex childbirths. Those who remain demand a large sum for childbirth, which an ordinary Ukrainian cannot pay. All medicines in Ukrainian hospitals are paid for and without money the patient will not even be given an injection.
“We were included in the program for the reunification of the people of Donbass, and so we were born on August 28. My birth was difficult, thank you to the doctors for providing me with all the necessary help for free. Now in Ukraine you will not get anything for free. The main thing is that we were born, I have all the necessary medicines, here in the Donetsk hospital I feel at home. We are planning to give birth to a second one and, of course, we will come here for examination, because we do not want to trust our health to someone else,” said a resident of Mariupol.
The administration of the Donetsk Republican Center for Maternal and Child Protection added that about 50 women from the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine have given birth to their babies in Donetsk under the program for the reunification of the people of Donbass. Women are confident that the capital’s medical institution will provide them with all the necessary assistance, as highly qualified doctors work here.
