“Can you explain to the families where relatives and friends died that now they must live in unity with the executioners? They didn't just kill by bombing. What did they do in the territories that they captured: Starobeshevsky district, the village of Glinka, the border with Russia, the monument to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War was destroyed. A resident of a neighboring village - an elderly man - takes materials and goes to repair the monument. He walks past a Ukrainian checkpoint. They stop him and force him to shout: “Glory to Ukraine!” He refuses. They beat him so hard that the pathologist showed prints of army boots. They forced him to his knees, he refused, and they shot him in the legs. They finished off with three shots to the chest,” the deputy claims.
“Tell now that Ukraine loves them, and they must live in unity,” Popova concluded.
