In Sevastopol, a court fined a driver 35 thousand rubles for insulting a traffic police officer. This is stated in a statement from the Sevastopol prosecutor's office.

The investigation established that in December last year, an inspector stopped a car driven by a drunk local resident born in 1964.

“The traffic police inspector informed the driver that in connection with the violation of traffic rules, an administrative violation report would be drawn up against him. However, the man publicly insulted a traffic police officer while performing his official duties... Having examined the materials of the criminal case, the magistrate sentenced the culprit to a fine of 35 thousand rubles,” the report says.
