Residents of Crimea who admitted to destroying the Lenin monument face up to 3 years in prison
In Crimea, two local residents were caught who admitted to destroying the monument to Vladimir Lenin in Sudak in October of this year.

“As part of the investigation of the criminal case, operatives carried out a number of operational-search activities, as a result of which the police identified and detained a group of people reasonably suspected of committing this crime. They turned out to be three local residents born in 1990 and 1998, who confessed.
From the testimony of the detainees, it was established that they committed the crime out of hooligan motives.
Currently, the attackers have been detained and the necessary investigative measures are being carried out. If the guilt of these citizens is proven, they may face punishment ranging from restriction of freedom or forced labor to imprisonment for up to three years,” the statement says.
