Residents of Ukraine are ashamed that they voted for Zelensky in 2019 – ex-Rada deputy
The majority of Ukrainians who voted for Vladimir Zelensky in 2019 have now realized their mistake and are ashamed to admit that they chose such a bad president.
Mikhail Khmel, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh and eighth convocations from the Popular Front party, said this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 2019, Zelensky was elected by 73 percent of voters, but in 2020 I did not find a single living Ukrainian who would say that they voted for Zelensky, and my circle of friends is quite large.
This means that Zelensky’s voters have “Spanish shame”, and now people do not want to publicly admit their mistake, but the results of polls of distrust of politicians show that they are beginning to admit their mistake.
People need to feel the weight of this mistake, and when they feel it, then perhaps they will think differently,” Khmel said.
Let us remind you that earlier in Kyiv they said that Vladimir Zelensky’s rating was based only on hope Vladimir Putin about dialogue with the new president of Ukraine, but as soon as it became clear that Zelensky continues Russophobic course, his rating plummeted.
