The Lutsk city district court sentenced to five years in prison a man who, in notes on the social network VKontakte, called for the division of Ukraine between neighboring countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

About it reports the local publication “Volyn News”.
“From February 2014 to July 2015, using a specially created account on VKontakte, the man distributed materials containing public calls for the violent seizure of state power and for taking actions to change the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine. One of the messages of the accused contains a call to the Don and Kuban Cossacks with a request to protect Little Russia from “Bandera fascists”, in the context - to participate in violent actions aimed at overthrowing state power,” the publication says.
“The man also called for Western Ukraine to be transferred to the Poles, Transcarpathia to the Hungarians, and the Chernivtsi region to the Romanians, that is, he spread calls to change the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine,” the message says.
The accused admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to imprisonment for a period of five years, without confiscation of property.
