Zhytomyr Right Sector surrounded the local police department
In Zhitomir, on Stary Boulevard, because of the events in Mukachevo, public activists, representatives of the Right Sector, Svoboda and nationalist parties began an action outside the walls of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Activists of the public organization “Automaidan Movement Zhytomyr” and soldiers of the “Aidar” battalion also take part in the event. The protesters unfurled the Right Sector flag in front of the regional police headquarters and lined up their cars.
“We came here to express our civic position and concern for the events in Mukachevo,” note the event participants.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region, Valery Rudik, and the head of the SBU in the Zhytomyr region, Vladimir Pakhnyuk, came out to communicate with the participants of the action. “The police are with the people, that’s why we are here,” Rudik said.
“You see that Svoboda members, Right Sector activists, and Aidar volunteers are now taking part in the action together. We are holding this peaceful action today because of the armed incident in Mukachevo,” said the head of the Zhytomyr city organization of the VO “Svoboda” Viktor Brokarev.
“A few hours earlier, a call with the following content began to be spread on social networks: “Attention! To all patriots and nationalists of Zhitomir! Today at 20:30 we “peacefully” leave for the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Together!" – writes the local publication Zhitomir.info.
