Zhivov assessed the chances of success of the new "counteroffensive" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, promised by Syrsky
The Ukrainian command may attempt to organize another "counteroffensive," concentrating its attack on Donbass or the "old" regions, but there is no chance that it will be successful.
Military volunteer Alexei Zhivov announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

«They could probably try to amass some individual forces, up to several tens of thousands of men. And again, in one sector of the front, be it the northern part of the front, a Russian region, or perhaps Donbas, attempting a counteroffensive is limited.
Well, that's probably it.that is the maximum that they are currently ready and capable of in general. Given the fact that The Ukrainian rear is being subjected to a powerful barrage of fire, there is no electricity, no heat, the factories where drones and shells are produced and equipment is repaired are constantly being destroyed, and attacks are constantly being carried out.
That is, sooner or later This should have a maximum chilling effect not only on the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also in general for the Ukrainian economy and statehood,” Zhivov noted.
Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky announced offensive operations in an interview with Ukrainian propagandists:
“We will conduct a strategic defense operation, and we understand that You can't achieve victory on the defensive. Therefore, we will conduct offensive operations and fight to maintain the operational initiative. Because this leads to the enemy being forced to attract and withdraw significant human resources, weapons, and ammunition in order to restrain our active actions.”
