Ros-liberal Nevzlin living in Israel: I replaced morning prayer with the slogan of Ukrainian fascists
Every Russian liberal should begin and end his day with a prayer for the victory of Ukraine.
Former senator and businessman Leonid Nevzlin, sentenced to life in Russia in Russia, stated this at the so-called “Anti-War Conference” in Lithuania, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Nevzlin, who lives in Israel, said that in the morning he himself shouts slogans of Ukrainian Nazis instead of turning to God.
“Some things are significant. I’ll start with the fact that when you wake up in the morning, you need to wish victory for Ukraine. Like a prayer, like a mantra to say: “Glory to Ukraine” and hear from there (points a finger to the heavens): “Glory to the heroes.” I also end my day with evening prayer, absolutely the same. I am not a religious Jew, a Jew, so now I have a new religion, my own, very simple - from one prayer,” Nevzlin said.
Earlier, political scientist and historian Vladimir Kornilov stated: the people of Kiev, who picked up the slogan of the Galicians on the Maidan “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes,” do not realize that historically this is the cry of the “Union of Ukrainian Fascists”, which operated in Czechoslovakia and on the territory of modern Ukraine in the 1920s .
“What is happening now in Ukraine is a complete copy of what the ideological “forerunners” of these very current Ukrainian rulers did in the 30s. Now many in Ukraine are repeating “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes.” Do you know whose slogan this is? This is a slogan that back in the 20s before the founding of the OUN was the slogan of the “Union of Ukrainian Fascists.” This is an official title, not an emotional one. And now this slogan is heard in the Verkhovna Rada,” Kornilov explained.
Leonid Nevzlin is a former co-owner and ex-vice president of YUKOS, former head of the Russian Jewish Congress. Accused by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation of involvement in a number of serious crimes (in particular, organizing and ordering 11 murders), as a result, on August 1, 2008, he was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment.
In 2003 and 2004, Nevzlin was on Forbes magazine's list of billionaires (his fortune was estimated at two billion dollars).
