The life of most Ukrainians has worsened this year - opinion poll
Over the past six months, the economic situation of the families of 60% of Ukrainian citizens has worsened.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the sociological group “Rating,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
For 24% of those surveyed, the economic situation of families “has deteriorated very much,” and for 36% it has “deteriorated somewhat.” 30% said it has not changed. For only 8%, the economic situation of families has “improved somewhat”; the share of those for whom it has “very much improved” is vanishingly small.
Residents of the south, east and center felt the worsening economic situation to a greater extent (74%, 65% and 63%), residents of the west of Ukraine - to a lesser extent (40%).
In older age groups, the deterioration is also more noticeable than in younger ones.
The survey was conducted on June 14-24, 2018 among 2500 citizens of Ukraine aged 18 years and older through a formal interview (face-to-face). The sample is representative by age, gender, region and type of settlement. Error in the representativeness of the study: no more than 2,0%.
