Life for Ukrainians is getting worse
The vast majority of Ukrainians believe that things in the country are going in the wrong direction.
This is evidenced by opinion poll data, published sociological group “Rating”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“According to the results of a survey conducted by the Sociological Group “Rating” in February 2019, two-thirds of respondents believe that things in Ukraine are going in the wrong direction, while at the same time, every fifth believes that they are going in the right direction (since the beginning of the year, the latter figure has increased from 14 to 21%),” notes the release.
At the same time, the “Rating” indicates that more than half of the Ukrainians surveyed felt the economic situation in the country was deteriorating.
“Only 10% believe that over the past 12 months the economic situation in Ukraine has improved, 60% felt it has worsened. It is important to note that over the past 5 years, the latter figure has decreased from 86 to 60%, while the number of respondents who believe that the situation has not changed has increased (from 11 to 27%),” the report says.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine stated sharp population decline in post-Maidan Ukraine along with reduction in consumption Ukrainians receive essential products.
