“According to the health department, yesterday, as a result of shelling, 10 Gorlovka residents were injured, including three children, and 5 civilians were killed,” according to the city council’s website.

According to the City Council, during the period of hostilities, 235 city residents were injured of varying degrees of severity, including 17 children, and 115 people died.

“All yesterday evening and night the townspeople heard artillery cannonade. In the area of the fifth mine, the cannonade was so strong that some residents' windows cracked. Also, around 01.00 am, heavy large-caliber artillery was again working in the center, so the townspeople were in the appropriate mood.

After 9 o'clock in the morning, the cannonade resumed in the city; according to friends from north to south, hail and cannon artillery began to work. People are going down bomb shelters, and hospital patients are also going down into the basements. From household needs, as before, many people lack electricity, heat, water, the Internet and television disappear. MTS still lies there,” journalist Nikita Sinitsin said on his Facebook page.

His colleague Egor Voronov published photographs in which he recorded the lives of people who had already spent two weeks in bomb shelters.

“There is no heating in the basement. Recently electricity was installed here. Now 35 square meters of shelter are heated (or trying to be heated) by a small fan heater. There are many mattresses on the floor that people themselves brought here from their homes. There are no doors here, and the entrance to the residential “catacombs” is covered with a blanket. People run to the residents of nearby two-story buildings who have gas to cook,” the blogger said about the conditions in which people, including those who have already survived one war, have to live.
