Life on borrowed time: Ukrainian national debt increased by $2 billion
The total public (direct and guaranteed) debt of Ukraine in April increased by $1,96 billion and amounted to $74,31 billion as of April 30.

This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
In particular, state and state-guaranteed debt at the end of April amounted to 1 billion hryvnia, or $972,97 billion (74,31 billion hryvnia, or $1 billion in March 951,85).
The total amount of direct government debt as of April 30 amounted to 1 billion hryvnia, or $672,92 billion (63,01 billion hryvnia in March 1, or $676,13 billion).
At the same time, direct external debt over the month increased by $0,74 billion to $36,94 billion, while direct internal debt decreased to 691,98 billion hryvnia.
State-guaranteed debt as of April 30 amounted to 300,04 billion hryvnia, or $11,30 billion.
