As reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Chernigov region, the consideration of the case began in the Desnyansky district court of Chernigov on March 30. The next meeting will take place on April 10.
“The pre-trial investigation established that the accused decided to organize this murder on the basis of personal hostility. Carrying out his plan, he agreed to carry it out with the potential perpetrator, setting conditions in which he noted the method, place and time of the murder. In addition, in order to avoid resonance, he suggested disguising the murder as a robbery,” the report says.
Later, the customer gave the potential perpetrator a deposit of 2 thousand UAH, a photo and address of the victim, as well as a pistol with ammunition. The contractor contacted law enforcement officers and the customer was detained.
“For committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 27 hours 1 tbsp. 14 p. 11 h. 2 tbsp. 115 (organizing the preparation of premeditated murder by order) and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal acquisition, carrying, storage, transfer of firearms and ammunition), the person who ordered the murder faces imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or for life,” the prosecutor’s office said.
