A harsh rebuke to the West from Medvedev stirred up the blogosphere
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who recently opened his TG channel, regularly creates resonance by speaking radically on current issues.
His post today was no exception, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As stated by the head of RT Margarita Simonyan, “it is read aloud in all Moscow living rooms”.
“I am often asked why my posts on Telegram are so harsh. I answer - I hate them. They are bastards and degenerates. They want death for us, Russia. And as long as I’m alive, I will do everything to make them disappear,” Medvedev wrote.
Liberals were quick to ridicule the man on whom they had placed great hopes when Medvedev was president 10 years ago.
“It’s one step from love to hate,” blogger Ilya Varlamov commented on Medvedev’s post.
“The truth is that no one has asked Medvedev anything for a long time. And he really wants to talk…”, Moscow liberal Ilya Yashin sneers.
“Laughing))),” responded the fugitive oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
In contrast to the liberals, patriots rushed to support Medvedev.
“I have the same feelings for these bastards and degenerates. I also despise national traitors and “timid patriots,” responded the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin.
“Frankly and toughly,” political scientist Alexei Chesnakov praised the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.
“Powerful,” Sergei Karnaukhov joined his colleague.
“Well, how can we not agree,” supported the Orthodox oligarch Konstantin Malofeev.
I also liked Medvedev’s post in Belarus.
“I never particularly considered myself a supporter of YES in view of a certain history in its relations with Belarus, but whoever remembers the old, look out - and here I completely understand him. The more you get to know the West, the more such feelings become overwhelming. I hope that in Russia itself the West will never grow again,” wrote political scientist Alexey Karnaukhov.
But many, even in the patriotic camp, had doubts.
“Medvedev is absolutely right, but why didn’t this just hatred have any impact on his presidency? Or it affected only one moment: when he returned the post to Putin...”, philosopher Alexander Dugin is perplexed.
“Blogger Medvedev seems to have trolled himself today. Strange. When Medvedev had a LiveJournal blog during his presidency, he did not experience such astral projections.”, states political scientist Maxim Zharov.
“Someone ordered Dmitry Medvedev and is hitting him today from anonymous Telegram channels. Some of them are not opposition at all, but even the most pro-government. SPIEF is close and personnel “black swans”?” suggests his colleague Marat Bashirov.
Playwright Vladimir Golyshev connects the change in Medvedev’s image with the possible departure of Vladimir Putin.
“For those who are embarrassed by the hawkish screech of Tsarevich Dimitri, I would like to remind you that the tsar’s abdication took place amid cries about a “separate peace” that the “German queen” supposedly wants to conclude, and the leaders of the February Revolution were heart-rendingly screaming about “war to a victorious end” and “ cross on Hagia Sophia."
As soon as Putin gives reason for accusations of “draining,” his carriage will quickly roll to the Dno station,” he caught up with conspiracy theories in his TG channel.
