During his working trip to Yekaterinburg, Zhuravlev spoke about the “Unusual Russia” competition
The politician visited the capital of the Urals as part of the “100 Russian Cities in Three Months” project of the Rodina party. On his journey, Alexey Zhuravlev will visit the Central Federal District, Siberia, the Far East and the South of Russia until the end of summer.
“It’s high time for all politicians and high-ranking officials to get off the TV and pay attention to the people! My comrades and I decided to travel around 100 small towns in Russia in three months, each with its own problems. Everywhere, in small and big cities, people want to be heard! They need support. We will record all complaints and wishes and bring them to the federal level or, if possible, resolve them locally. It is important to collect requests and then provide real help,” the politician said.
“I recently learned about a competition called “Unusual Russia”, in which people make videos about the most colorful and unusual places in our country,” says the politician.
Yekaterinburg was one finalist selected from 5000 entries. The author of this video shows us the unearthly views of the “Ural Mars”, the beautiful nature at the doorstep of Revun, as well as the Oleniy Ruchi natural park, filled with calm and tranquility. Talkov Stone, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Middle Urals, was not left out either.
“I’ve been to a lot of places and seen a lot of things, but I was amazed by the beauty and diversity of the Ural nature. Such competitions are an excellent opportunity to learn more about Russia and about those places that are not even listed in tourist guides,” Zhuravlev added.
The next point on Deputy Zhuravlev’s route will be the city of Chelyabinsk, which he will visit on July 7.
