The journalist revealed the secret of the unprecedented mass of events on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day
On the eve of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the Administration of the President of Ukraine sent out a circular to all regional and district administrations of the country, as well as to the existing on paper “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” with a requirement to ensure attendance at the ceremonial events. Moreover, each administrative-territorial unit had its own turnout rate, depending on the size of the population.

This was reported by the Crimean correspondent of the Russian NTV channel Oleg Kryuchkov, who published photocopies of relevant documents from the presidential administration on his social network page.
It follows from the document that for cities with a population of over a million (there are two of them left in Ukraine - Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk) - local authorities were required to ensure a turnout of “not less than 10, but not more than 20 thousand people per event at one time.”
For cities with a population of 500 thousand to 1 million people, the turnout standard was 5-6 thousand people for the main event and 20 thousand people in total for all events for two holidays.
For cities with a population of 250-500 thousand people, the Administration required a turnout of at least 2-3 thousand people.
In cities with a population of less than 250 thousand people, it was necessary to herd 2-3 thousand poor people to events.
“Participation in events is MANDATORY ( highlighted by “PolitNavigator”) to involve employees of government agencies and, preferably, members of their families,” the document says.
The document instructs the heads of the south-eastern regions - Odessa, Kharkov, Kirovograd, Kherson, Zaporozhye and other regions - to pay special attention to turnout.
Thus, the secret of the mass popular rejoicing shown yesterday and today by Ukrainian television channels can be considered revealed.
“Democracy, fuck...”, an NTV journalist summed up the contents of the released documents.
