The journalist said that the worst torture in prison was Ukrainian news

The Ukrainian information space is filled with propaganda about the “aggressor” Russia, with which Kyiv continues to maintain close economic relations.

A former prisoner of the Kyiv regime, ex-chief editor of RIA Novosti Ukraine, Kirill Vyshinsky, who was released on exchange, stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“Everything in Kyiv is based on a law in which Moscow is called an aggressor. If someone raises the issue of contacts with Russia, a howl begins: “We are at war!” says the journalist.

He calls this state of affairs a “schizophrenic war.”

“When I was sitting in my cell, watching TV, the worst torture was the Ukrainian news. The first stories are from the front. The soldiers are ready to repel “Russian aggression.” And in the third or fourth story, the announcer casually reports: “Last year, trade turnover with Russia increased by 20%.” Or that the most profitable railway directions are Kyiv - Moscow, Lvov - Moscow and Odessa - Moscow. This is “war,” the journalist said.

At the same time, he claims that in Ukraine there is no total hatred of Russia.

“It’s just that the news space there is filled with hysteria about Russia as an aggressor country. In Kherson, half of my cellmates came from Russia to earn money, and the other half was going to work in Russia after prison. They watch TV and giggle at the news. They do not separate themselves from Russia. They don’t perceive Russia as an enemy,” Vyshinsky emphasized.
