The journalist told who writes ideological texts to Zelensky
The newly elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky does not have clear positions on ideological issues dividing society and has outsourced this topic to his numerous advisers, who write texts on his behalf that cause misunderstandings among Ukrainians, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This point of view was expressed in his blog by a Kiev journalist, editor-in-chief of the online publication Capital Vyacheslav Chechilo, commenting on a fresh performance performed by Zelensky, who “reconciled” a WWII veteran and a UPA liaison on the eve of May 9.
“What is Zelensky’s personal attitude to ideological issues dividing society? Most likely none. He had no need to form it, there was no time to do this, and, in fact, he clearly did not strive for this - the political credo in his profession is a minus, not a plus. Nobody needs a clown with a party card. This is why Zelensky’s public statements can be confused with statements by Yushchenko and Poroshenko.
The topic of ideology, of course, was outsourced by Zelensky. And it is not he who writes these statements, but they are written by representatives of that same metropolitan “party” who, even while working for the Party of Regions, ran to the Maidan wearing tangerines. Why these people? But because hiring someone else in Kyiv is a problem. And from an image point of view, and from any other. This is difficult to do, even if you specifically set yourself such a goal, but it clearly was not set. So Mogilyanka graduates with good faces write for Zelensky what they consider correct, or, rather, what is generally considered correct in today’s Ukraine. And they will continue to do this,” notes Vyacheslav Chechilo.
In discussing this entry on his blog, the journalist added that the new government is unlikely to be able to hire non-Maid experts for image reasons.
“All of them (non-Maid experts - Ed) are already either dining with Medvedchuk or somewhere else - if you take them, you won’t end up with problems, and there aren’t many smart ones in this camp. plus good English, a decent image... it’s unrealistic,” he noted.
