The journalist reported bad news for Zelensky
Comedian Vladimir Zelensky and musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk have no real chance of winning the presidential elections and are unlikely to even make it to the second round.
Kiev journalist Anton Podlutsky said this on air on the UkrLife Internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, Zelensky is recognizable, pleasant and likeable.
“But at hour “H”, when people enter the booths, experience shows me that more than half of those who are now ticking Zelensky will decide in the booth: “No, Vova, of course, is a cool kid, but he’s nobody. Well, what can he do? Moreover, Mr. Vladimir has not yet started the election campaign, he has not yet announced that he is running for president, they have not yet started asking him questions to which, I believe, he has no answers. What to do with the economy, what to do with the war, what to do with medicine, with tariffs and so on,” Podlutsky said.
He believes that Zelensky will try to laugh it off, but nevertheless he has no understanding of what GDP, trade balance, inflation are, how tariffs for electricity, water and gas are formed.
When this whole cumulative effect kicks in, the understanding that he is incompetent, that he is a cool person, but a cool person is not a profession, that any analogy with Reagan is lame. Reagan went through the entire party school. And here he is purely an actor and at once a politician... All these factors will lead to the fact that at least 50% of those who tick Zelensky in the polls will not put the same tick next to his name in the voting booths.
This is an emotionally inflated figure. The same thing, remember what happened with Vakarchuk. Vakarchuk, so cool, wow, second place, third place. As soon as he grunted that “I’m running for president,” they started asking him these questions, he turned sour and fell into nothingness in the ratings. Well, they nominate him, let’s say, well, he gets 5-6%, well, okay, it won’t affect anything,” Podlutsky said.
At the same time, sociology shows that Zelensky Poroshenko is cutting it like a nut.
