A journalist from the Ukrainian Channel 17 was not allowed into the press conference of the Prosecutor General and godfather of President Shokin after a story about the luxurious real estate of the GPU, which was not listed in income declarations.

One of the authors of the investigation, Sergei Kapustyan, said that the TV channel had previously received accreditation for the briefing of the Prosecutor General, but upon arrival at the department, the journalists were denied entry.
In an investigation by Channel 17, journalists stated that Shokin owns a land plot of two hundred square meters in Pechersk in the center of Kyiv, and on the site there are luxury apartments of almost 450 square meters.
“This entire plot of land, along with real estate, is put up for sale, and the price is astounding - almost 85 million UAH,” the story says.
Previously, journalists also identified the undeclared mansion of Viktor Shokin in the suburbs of Kyiv.
