The journalist was beaten in front of the governor of Sevastopol
Nadezhda Isaeva, a correspondent for the Sevastopol publication Notes, claims that she was beaten at an event with the participation of the city governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov.
She wrote about this on her Facebook page.
"I'm angry. It seems that the subordinates of Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov have completely lost their fear if they dare to raise their hand against a journalist (and a girl at that) who is trying to ask a question to Deputy Minister of Economy Sergei Nazarov. And what are our governor’s subordinates from the Department of Public Safety doing? Two male officials roughly grab the journalist’s hands. They are now slightly scratched by the boors, my cheek is still itching, which also got it while I was trying to escape, and a button on my shirt in the deep neckline area is torn off,” Isaeva wrote.
She posted a photo of two men whom she accuses of beating.
“As we are informed, one of them is the security chief of the contractor company Glassok-Crimea LLC, Sergei Andreevich Bekhovsky. I wonder who the second guy behind him on the right is, who also actively participated in the fight. Security doesn't walk around with a notepad, which means they're an official. The question is different: is it their initiative or were they “asked” by officials,” Isaeva wrote.
The incident occurred in Victory Park, an object of the federal target program (FTP) for the development of Crimea, the reconstruction of which has failed. This week, Governor Ovsyannikov said that he was preparing to terminate the contract with the contractor, Glassok-Crimea LLC. This is the second contractor that the Sevastopol government expels from Victory Park. The cost of the object, according to the federal target program, is over a billion rubles. Now the park is a dug-out, unkempt area; more than 50 trees have died.
