Strict censorship should be introduced in the ATO zone, and journalists should not allow themselves to come to their positions in ballet slippers.

Volunteer Timofey Zlatkin, who introduced himself as a former military man and a former journalist, stated this at a round table held in Kyiv on the peculiarities of the work of journalists in the ATO zone.
“Why are simple basic things being forgotten now, when journalists, sorry, from Hromadskoe Radio and Rapdio Svoboda, and the Air Force, come to combat positions and tell the soldiers how wonderful and prepared they are,” the volunteer emphasized. – But they come, sorry, in slippers. In ballet. To the front line. They forget their own safety protocols.”
This speech was forced to be interrupted by the round table moderators, who tried to remind the speaker that they had not gathered here to discuss the dress code of journalists.
“We have gathered to discuss a problem that exists on both sides,” the round table participant continued calmly. “I am in favor of introducing strict censorship, because neither the military nor journalists are ready to cover events in the ATO.”
At the same time, the moderators again intervened in the speech, suggesting that the volunteer was at the wrong meeting.
“I got to the wrong meeting, I understand,” he agreed. “But excuse me, when I saw footage on live television the other day that shouldn’t have been there, I didn’t ask the question why it didn’t go through the press officer. I ask the question: why didn't this go through self-censorship? Why don’t journalists, production editors, program editors, editors-in-chief, and TV channel directors pay attention to this? Sorry, this is a little annoying and infuriating.”
It is worth noting that on his Facebook page, Zlatkin calls his fellow brothers “punishers and fascists,” “whom fate forced to flee their native land,” “take up arms,” and “learn to kill.”
