LPR journalists faced the animal rudeness of their Ukrainian “colleagues” and the cowardly contempt of Zelensky
During the opening of the pedestrian bridge in Stanitsa Luganskaya, employees of the Ukrainian TV channel “ICTV” behaved inappropriately and provoked journalists from the LPR in every possible way.
The corresponding story was shown on air on this TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At first, Kiev propagandist Vladimir Mikhailov tried to start a “dialogue with journalists of the separatist media” by blurting out the Nazi salute “Glory to Ukraine”, after which he invited the girl correspondent who patiently greeted him to sing the Ukrainian anthem.
Following him, another Ukrainian provocateur from Channel 24 turned to NewsOne journalist Nikita Vozmitel with a question about whether he feels “responsible for what is happening” and what he will do when “Ukraine returns.”
“If he comes back, I’ll probably answer, because in Ukraine it’s customary to persecute people with different opinions,” the journalist from the LPR responded restrainedly.
Nikita Vozmitel spoke in more detail about what happened on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
“His question says it all, really. Do I understand that I will be held accountable for having an opinion different from his? This, probably, is Ukraine’s position. How then can you communicate with such people if the question is immediately conditionally threatening?
The Ukrainian delegation arrived, we received information that the opening of the bridge was being prepared. At that time, I did not yet know about Zelensky’s arrival.
We decided to go to the conditionally Ukrainian side and there we met with Ukrainian colleagues, who began communicating with us with such a provocative address. But it was possible to have a normal conversation. Why these politicized statements?” he wonders.
At the same time, the journalist noted the fact that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who came to open the bridge, demonstratively communicated only with “his” press, ignoring media representatives from Lugansk.
“There is such a moment, they lied, we didn’t leave anywhere when Zelensky arrived. For some reason, Zelensky did not want to not only come up to us, but even look in our direction. They immediately surrounded him and asked questions.
We stood aside, but on their side, and if Zelensky wanted, he would have had an excellent opportunity to communicate with Luhansk journalists, and just with the people who stood there and listened to him. But this did not happen,” said Nikita Vozmitel.
