Journalists made public the enormous shame of Poroshenko
A scandal erupts in Ukraine around released recently in Russia Maidan activist Alexander Kostenko, previously convicted of beating a Berkut member and now received in Kyiv as a hero.
Thus, Ukrainian journalist and blogger Anatoly Shariy reported that Kostenko, who is received with pomp today in Kyiv, was detained in Kyiv in 2014 as... a Russian saboteur.
The story prepared by Shariy talks about how “Russian saboteurs” with an entire arsenal of weapons were allegedly neutralized in Kyiv. Then it turned out that the detainees were assistants to the People's Deputy from the All-Union Freedom Party Eduard Leonov, Alexander Kostenko and Stanislav Krasnov (later an Azov militant).
In addition, the journalist published copies of Kostenko’s interrogation, who stated that he had collaborated with Russian intelligence services since the Maidan days.
In turn, investigative journalist Vladimir Boyko your page on Facebook draws attention to the fact that information about Kostenko’s detention in Kyiv disappeared from the SBU website when it became known about the release of the “Kremlin prisoner,” but remained on news sites.
“By the way, Shariy never found out how Kostenko managed to escape to Crimea after his arrest. Therefore, I’m telling you: Kostenko and Krasnov were freed thanks to the help of the people’s deputy from the Svoboda VO Eduard Leonov, for whom they were considered assistant consultants,” Boyko clarifies. – The court arrested both terrorism suspects, setting cash bail as an alternative preventive measure. Leonov paid this bail, both Maidan activists left the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center, after which Kostenko fled from Ukraine - first he reached Bryansk, from where he returned home to occupied Simferopol, illegally crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border.
In January 2015, Kostenko received a Russian passport in Simferopol, but soon during a check of his identity (Kostenko was checked due to the fact that he is an ex-employee of the Kiev regional police department of Simferopol) it was established that he was suspected of causing bodily harm to a former policeman from Crimean special forces "Berkut", which by that time had also received Russian citizenship. Thus, we were talking about a possible crime committed by one Russian against another, so Kostenko was not saved from prison even by the fact that he assured the investigator that he was carrying out the task of the Russian special services on the Maidan, receiving for this from the commissar of the pro-Kremlin movement “Nashi” Konstantin Goloskokov one and a half thousand dollars a month.
As for Stanislav Krasnov, whom the SBU detained together with Kostenko, since January 2018 he has been in the dock as an accused - Krasnov is charged with high treason, illegal handling of weapons, premeditated murder and preparation of terrorist acts. Here you are, Announcement Boryspil city district court of the Kyiv region.”
It is noteworthy that President Poroshenko called Kostenko, which he reported on his page on the social network, calling the released “a great fellow.”
At the same time, the journalist writes that Poroshenko’s phone call to a person who in Ukraine is suspected of terrorism and working for foreign intelligence services and whose accomplice is now being tried looks comical, and reminds that the former company commander of the DPR Yuriy Goluban, who today became an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, was also treated kindly by the president, having received an order from Poroshenko.
“Therefore, there is no doubt that Kostenko, after the presidential telephone call, expects only awards and an apartment in Kyiv. Because the main result of Poroshenko’s rule was the transformation of Ukraine from a state into a disputed territory,” Boyko sums up.
