The Supreme Administrative Court opened cassation proceedings regarding the decisions of the Rivne City Court and the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal on the declaration of the Rivne city chairman and his deputies.

Previously, the courts of first and second instance sided with the mayor and refused to recognize the requirements of the law on access to public information.

According to journalists, Rivne mayor Vladimir Khomko is the only one among the mayors of Western Ukraine who illegally hides his wife’s income.
