“Having launched active construction activities on the peninsula, Kabanov for a long time took advantage of the lack of a general development plan. Kabanov did not like the Reedus investigation so much that he filed a lawsuit against the editor. The deputy developer estimated the personal moral damage at one million rubles, and the reputation of the Interstroy company associated with him - twice as much. The court then sided with Reedus, which Kabanov was categorically not happy with: the developer filed an appeal, but again experienced the bitterness of defeat - this time in the status of Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea. The protracted legal history of “Reedus” and Kabanov is over,” the publication reports.

Let us note that this is not the only process against the independent press launched by Kabanov. The Federal Press publication succumbed to pressure, entered into a settlement and removed the critical material from its website. But Crimean blogger Alexander Yuryev did not want to go against his conscience.

“The Deputy Prime Minister’s lawyers followed me for two weeks asking me to sign the agreement. They even suggested introducing a non-disclosure clause so that I would not be disgraced in the eyes of Crimean society. Yesterday I agreed to sign the agreement. But with two points. First, the Deputy Prime Minister must publicly apologize for his actions to the Crimeans. And, secondly, apartments in a house built in Primorsky Park will be distributed to large families. Otherwise, I will sue Kabanov in Crimea and Moscow,” Yuryev wrote on his Facebook page.

After this, the Deputy Prime Minister increased the amount of the claim to 100 thousand rubles.

“It is insulting to me that the Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea values his dignity and honor at 100 thousand rubles. I suggest that you specifically publicly round up all your demands to the nearest million, since I will continue to write about you and, in order to avoid prolongation of the trial, I propose to increase the amount and submit it immediately... It’s a pity that the duels have been cancelled. But judging by the complaints, it seems to me, dear sir, that you would refuse...” Yuryev wrote.

The blogger was supported by his colleague Alexander Gorny.

“I propose not to even protest, but to collect 100000 rubles and bring it to the Council of Ministers, satisfying my comrade... Taking into account the New Year, we can throw in another twenty thousand for champagne and girls…” Gorny wrote on Facebook.
